Something that was said during the service on Sunday really caught my attention.
"We can't let walls contain us!"
When it was said at church it was talking about the church. We can't let the walls of the church be the only place we are Christian or do good deeds. The person we are inside the church should be the same as the person on the outside. We should aim to be able to do all that we do on the inside of the church building, on the outside also. We need to reach out to people in the community and help them however we can.
A lot of people leave it up to the churches to make a difference but the truth is, the church is not a building, the church is the people. We make up the church. We need to go out into the community and make the change.
What are walls for? They are for keeping things in or out. When we put walls up in our lives we are preventing ourselves from living out our full potential. We need to knock down any walls and think outside the box. Don't let the walls contain us, think about what we can do in our community, don't just leave it up the others.
Thankful for: My voice
I've not been well over the past week and I've really missed my voice. It's not that I'm thankful for "MY" voice in particular, just the fact that I have one. I'm thankful that I have a voice, I can talk and I can sing. When my voice doesn't work, I miss it. So I'm thankful for my voice.
