We see many stories in the Bible where people have encountered Jesus. There is one story in Luke 7:36-50 that tells the story of a sinner who fell at Jesus' feet, cleaned them with her tears, wiped them with her hair, and poured perfume on them.
In Luke 7:48, Jesus simply says to her, "Your sins are forgiven." We can all be forgiven when we have the faith to believe in Jesus. Jesus not only forgives us but He loves and accepts us.
Thinking about how I would react if I had a moment to encounter Jesus face to face, I wondered how I would behave. Knowing everything that I know about Him, and knowing His love and His acceptance, and the fact that He has forgiven all my many sins, I think I would simply fall at His feet. Not because I feel like I should be small in His presence or think that I am unworthy of Him, but simply because of all He has done and as an act of worship to Him.
Thankful for: Muscles
Muscles are very strange things in our body but I'm thankful for them because they are what help us move. Imagine our bodies without muscle. I don't think it's possible!
