From The Inside Out

So today's journal entry, continuing from yesterday is about listening to the Holy Spirit and understanding what it is He wants to do in us. 

1 Corinthians 2:9-16 talks about the Spirit of God and how he talks to us. Some people experience His Spirit in different ways. Some simply hear thoughts and know they are not their own, others will hear clear audible voice. It doesn't matter how you hear the voice as long as you know it's Him. You just simply need to be connected to His Spirit. 

Right now, I think the Holy Spirit particularly wants to focus on matters of my heart. Knowing that He is all I need, and trusting Him with everything. I think when I lay it all down for Him, everything will all start to fall into place. I want my relationship with Him to grow stronger, I want to be closer with Him and I want to know that I have given Him my everything. If there is anything that is stopping me, He will make it known and help me get through it. 

Thankful for: Creativity

After spending the day at our creative arts academy concert I have to be thankful for creativeness. There was such talent and abilities at the concert and without creativity I think we would get stuck not knowing what to do with our talents.
