Let's Blossom

"Within each of us, just waiting to blossom,

is the wonderful promise of all we can be"

This was just a little quote that was on my calendar and it stood out to me so I made note of it. I guess the question worth asking is 'do you realise the potential that lives inside of you?'

When God made us, He filled us with gifts and talents. He filled us with potential, and gave us all we need to blossom in His world. The problem is that many of us do not see what lives within us, we doubt the abilities He has given us and we doubt ourselves. Some people think they are just plain and boring, nothing special. Well, we couldn't be further from the truth. We are so amazing, there is so much promise and potential in each one of us, God can't wait to see us bloom. So let's not hold it in, let's let it grow. Let's nurture what we have so that we may become all that God meant for us to be. 

Thankful for: Safety

I am alone at home for the next week, so I'm thankful for the safety that I feel knowing that God is looking out for me. Being alone in a house can be a scary thing, especially when you hear funny noises in the night, but I know I am safe, because I have a God who cares for me, and He will not let anything happen to me. He will keep me safe.
