A Letter From God...

This is just something I felt God speaking to me about tonight, this may be a personal thing for myself, and I will be praying about it, but maybe it's for you reading this. God sometimes works in mysterious but magnificent ways.

 

I see you everyday. 

I see the struggles you face.

I hear the thoughts of your mind. 

I know the deepest longings of your heart. 

I see the hurt you take with you everywhere you go. 

I see you carry the weight of the world on your shoulders. 

I see you forget that I am right there. 

I watch as you walk past me. 

I reach out for you, but you don't feel me. 

I call your name, but you don't hear me. 

I love you... but you refuse to let me in. 

I have known you since before you were born, I know all there is to know about you. You are my child, and you are loved dearly. You are special to me and when you smile, it brings joy to my heart. You are perfect the person that you are, so stop trying to change yourself. You were made different for a reason, don't let those differences get lost. I have gifted you in ways that you have not yet discovered. I want to see you grow in these giftings, but you keep pushing them aside thinking they are not for you. You let your past hold you back from your future. I will keep watching, I will keep waiting, and I will continue loving you, even when you don't love me back, and when you refuse to admit that I am here. You are my child and always will be!

When you are not sure, I have the answers

When nobody will listen, I am waiting for you with open ears

When you feel like crying, I am a shoulder to cry on

When you’re broken, I can fix you

When you are feeling unloved, I still love you

In everything you do, I am all you need

Thankful for: Hope

I'm thankful for hope, yes hope. Hope that there is a purpose for everything. Hope that there is a future for me. Hope for a brighter tomorrow. Hope is just such a great thing, and makes us look towards the future with a smile rather than dread. Hope... it's just such a great thing to have!
